Bill, now how cool is that, super hunting pose!  Love the way the Greenie is clutching those branches and hanging upside-down with the look of extreme concentration - excellent moment captured.

Thanks everyone for your thoughtful comments.

Gene, I did not use flash. A beam of late evening sun lit him up nicely. It also lit up a bit of vegetation on the far bank, which I cloned out. That isolated the bird, and may have contributed a flashed look.

Peter, If I could add another image to this thread I could show you what happened next. He went for a little fish, lost his footing and plunged headfirst beneath the water. A second later he flew up out of the water with a tiny fish in his beak. I made for a humorous five-frame sequence.
