Photographed at Nickerson Beach on Long Island. The parent offered a morsel which is lying on the ground and it took the little one a while to figure out what to do with it. :)

Axel, This is excellent. You must have been pretty close to get such good detail.

Thanks, Gene! This is pretty much full frame, neither the parents nor the chicks cared about me. They were too busy feeding and eating. :)
