A recent one from Southern NSW. A fairly common, drier country flycatcher which has the nickname "scissors-grinder" due to it's unusual raspy call. Thanks for Looking, Greg.

D800, 500mm, f/8, 1/640, ISO640, fill flash

Excellent Image and the fill flash seems to enhance it all.

Spectacular work as per usual. Love the colours on this species. What an attractive flycatcher and the presentation couldn't be sweeter.
Thanks for looking,

Greg, what a lovely head turn with all the iridescence expertly captured!   Highly detailed from head to tail, along with a wonderful perch nicely sprinkled with dainty leaves.  Gently mottled BG is so sweet - beautiful work.
