Photographed at Nickerson Beach on Long Island early in the morning. The little one has to practice how to grab food a bit more. :)

Fantastic image, Axel. Great low perspective, nice warm morning light, both bills open, food in midair, and a perfect shadow capturing this special event.

This so good on every level. The interaction and "missed bite" are over the top.

Love it.
As said before, all the ingredients for a classic shot: great species, great light, great angle, great interaction between the subjects, perfect moment and great composition. Deserves to be picked by the editors...

Hahaha. Perfect timing on this shot Axel. Great frame that opens a window into the world of a wee Oystercatcher. Cheers
