Photo taken at Laguna Seca Ranch in South Texas May 20, 2017.

Nikon D810, 300mm lens, 1.4 TC, 1/1250 sec at f/7.1, ISO 800.

In the U.S., the Olive Sparrow only resides in deep South Texas and is a year-round resident.

Awesome BG - not only clear, but a nice, complimentary color, too.  I've found these skulkers hard to get a good shot of - fine job.
