Barn Swallow Feeding

Several weeks ago along the Apopka Wildlife Drive, in Apopka Florida, I had the great fortune of witnessing several adult barn swallows feeding their young.  It was right along the road and so I set up pretty close as the adults made their rounds with the chicks.  They feed them on the fly so catching them at it was quite challenging!

What a great catch and a perfect angle! Good poses and eyes as well, although I think I'd get replace the adult's steely-gray eye.

Very cool. I had a similar chance with Cliff Swallows. I prefocused on the chick, switched to manual focus and then just hit the shutter when the adult came in
