It was last late February when the cold days of winter were becoming hot, cold blooded lizards were about to finish their hibernation and try warm them in the morning sun on leafy perches of bushes in a particular foothill forest area of the Mahananda wild life sanctuary in good number.I had an impression that raptors are active in late morning but these bazas were very active early morning like other birds and using the right opportunity to catch these lizards easily before they can warm up their body to become more active and difficult for the predators....I am always warmed up not to miss such opportunity so climbed down through a risky steep terrain to get close and eye level shots of feeding behaviour and again have found myself the importance of research in the field of Wild life photography.
