Shot yesterday very early morning. This sparrow was just singing and singing.
1D4, EF300mm f/2.8L USM NON-IS + 2.0X TC II (600mm f/5.6)
1/250, ISO-400, f/5.6 (wide open) on tripod.

I like the sharp eye but more dof would be nice, Mako!
Try stopping down by at least 1 stop when shooting with 2x.

Thank you KK Hui for the tip. I mostly shoot with 2X TC at f/7.1 or f/8. In this shot I was playing with Ta (shutter priority) and AUTO ISO.

Thanks again, I have to make sure aperture is closed 1 or 2 stops.
