Shot today late afternoon. After work I stopped by to check out the owls. Mommy and little ones were there.
I really like this fledgling. It is the smaller of the two and it is very friendly and playful.
Tall grass was in the way so I had to come closer resulting in pretty packed frame.
1D4, EF 300mm F/2.8L USM NON-IS + 2.0X TC II (600mm f/5.6)
1/200, ISO-800, f/5.6 tripod used.

Mako, Excellent details and portrait. Maybe you could have taken the TC off?
