Bob/RLK and I got out after Hermit Warblers in our good spots the other day.  With much success and 12 or so birds we got some good images.  We found no hybrids with Townsend's that day.  We tended to have more luck with birds on the fringes of the best territory where the most dominant birds likely already had partners.  They are tough to get on a setup but the nearby trees can work if you stick with it.  Many birds don't respond to any call.  This was a natural perch and I loved the background as it's not too in focus and not too out of focus.  I kept it big to emphasize his habitat instead of cropping in.

I like the pose, the detail and the surrounding habitat which you included. These birds are very attractive, fun to work with (although a bit challenging) and I can't wait to have another go at them. A gem in our back yard.

Excellent signing pose and I like your compositional choices with the bird relatively small in the frame. A species high on my wish list.
