Great Gray Owl photographed during my Loons and More workshop in BC, Canada that Alan and I conduct each year.

We have had the pleasure and privilege to photograph these birds in a totally uncontrolled and wild setting without any baiting or calling necessary. We have found several cooperative pairs, as well as numerous chicks being brooded. We have witnessed roosting, active feeding, learning to fly and more.

We are blessed to share these encounters with all of our participants for the last couple of weeks and look forward to doing it again next year!

We have already sold out the first two sessions next year so please get on board now if you are thinking of joining us. :)

Great Gray on a great perch with a clean background-not always an easy undertaking.
Sweet shot.

Greg, Excellent. Think I might have cloned out the white blob below and to the right of the bird?

I think this is the "daintiest" perch I have ever seen this huge owl on. What is not to love with this image ? Great shot and marketing tool. ;)
