This species barely makes it into the US and can be found in parts of southeast AZ and southern New Mexico. Taken in Madera Canyon, SE AZ. 1Ds3, 600mm, f/5.6, 1/4000th, iso 640. No Flash, afternoon light.

Beautiful picture! The subject is very sharp, full of detail. Nice background and perch. The perch color complements the bird nicely.
