Took time to get this guy out in the semi open with enough light to capture an image.  Macgillivray's are fairly tough that way.

Pope, Really nice habitat shot. Too bad the light did not allow a smaller aperture.

Nicely composed image. I like the singing pose, eye contact and the excellent detail. Wow! I have rarely taken my 7D2 to 1600. Nice to know it can capture relatively noiseless dark backgrounds at that speed.

Very nice warbler in a nice habitat. This warbler is missing in my collection and I missed on my trip to Arizona, but in one day I will ....

Very sharp with good details., I like it.

PopeShawnPaul,

This is a killer image of a tough to get bird. The photo has nice color, shows behavior and has great three-dimensional depth that comes with shooting with a long lens + teleconverter combo.
And good prep work as well. The high ISO with the 7DII can be problematic but you handled it well.
Very nice work.
