I caught this male as he was about to land on his favorite perch which he used just before flying to the feeder. I pre-focused on the snag with the far right focus point and then fired a burst when he flew toward the perch. I got several images with bad wing positions but after repeated efforts ended up with one I liked. Puget sound water is the background.
