Spotted towhee

I caught this male as he was about to land on his favorite perch which he used just before flying to the feeder. I pre-focused on the snag with the far right focus point and then fired a burst when he flew toward the perch. I got several images with bad wing positions but after repeated efforts ended up with one I liked. Puget sound water is the background.

Very nice capture Bob. Not an easy to do. I like the wing position and feet position, just getting ready to land on the perch.

Great capture of the action Bob. That water background is crazy in your images because it looks like sky but it's so low.
