Shot this morning. Light was getting bit harsh, but I'll take any flight shots :-)

Love the way the head and eye is just poking out of the wings.. not a critique but have you considered using auto iso when the light starts to die.. just gives you options...

David, thanks for the tip. That is a great idea. I just start using AUTO ISO. It does help when you not sure where the bird will fly.
The way I normally shoot in fully manual mode I take a reading of something that matches the bird  I am shooting, this way bird should be exposed regardless what the background. It doesn't work all the time, this is where AUTO ISO can help.
