Back in March, I watched as this harrier, partially hidden in the grass, devoured a mouse. I waited a half-hour for her to take off, and when she finally did I was pleased that for once she didn't go in the opposite direction from me. I liked the way this showed her full crop from having just dined on the field mouse.
