Great Horned Owlet

I arrived at Fort Desoto Park in Pinellas County, Florida before dawn to visit the owl nest.  The two Owlets were branching out and getting ready to fledge.  This Owlet walked out in clear view and stared down at me just as the sun lit him up.  It was a cool moment.

Nice moment in beautiful light. Seen a nest there in 2012 with one of the adults sitting on it.
