Peregrine Falcon

Iv'e been having a great time this year shooting a pair of nesting peregrines on a cliffside. The eyrie isn't that visible, and in the shade, but some of the perches that the parents like to use are in nice light with a good shooting angle. 
This is the male as he makes a nice flyby.  

1DX---840mm---f6.3---ss1/3200th---ISO800---Hand held@8:45am---30% crop

Just a great image David. Making me want a 1DX pretty bad. With that said, the camera
is just a tool and you have to be able to use it. Excellent work.

Super, David! Like the position in the upper part of the frame with his downward gaze.
Very jealous of you guy who've still got access to those birds!
It's taking time to find places to shoot up here, but I'll figure it out eventually.
