Nice shot. This bird almost for sure came from The World Center for Birds of Prey in Boise, Idaho. I saw them there last year. This is only pace I know where they breed these Condors and later release to the wild. Huge birds. I saw adults at the center spreading their wings (9 feet).

They are raised at the Portland Oregon zoo and LA and San Diego zoos for release...they are spread out for disease sake.  They won't be released in their home territory of the Pacific NW until lead shot is banned.

I emailed a biologist in regards to the wing tags and recieved full info on the two birds I photographed. The other photos i got are of a male on a nest Which was pretty cool to see. Hope they make a full come back in the future.
