We encountered 4 different Magnolia's over the course of 3 days until we encountered this relatively cooperative bird. While he did not take the staged perch, he did occasionally creep out on the tree branch giving a clean shot with a nice grass bg. Day 3 PM shoot, 1Dx2, 840mm, f/5.6, 1/500, iso 3200, Allegany State Park, NY. This was the first time I realized how usable and clean iso 3200 is. A real game changer. Good-bye flash (for the most part at least)
