Peter, Beautiful background. I like that the perch is all in the same focus plane.

Very nice image. Love the soft OOF background and the DOF on the entire perch. Perhaps a little more catchlight in the eye?

The perch fills the frame nicely but is a little too dominant. One thing to consider with perch selection is maintaining proper growth orientation of the branch foliage used. While Hemlock has small needles which are nice for small birds, it does not grow in the orientation presented and it looks un-natural to me. Great warbler. Would prefer more eye contact. Allegany is a wonderful place to shoot songbirds isn't it ?
