Jake, Nice habitat shot.  I like the eye contact and wings out capture.  Looks like the lake might be going down-hill a bit?  You can use the adjustment brush and bring down the highlights on the whites on the head to get more details.  Also, sometimes if you bring up the blacks when you adjust the highlights, it will help bring out more details in the whites.  Photographing a black and white bird is as hard as it gets.
