I had a great 4 day trip to the southern tier of NY State with Matthew Studebaker. This trip was a huge success with over 20 song bird species captured.

1Dx2, 840mm, f/5.6, 1/800, iso 1600. With the advent of new camera tech high iso capabilities, I have pretty much retired flash and my 1Ds3. Critiques always welcome. I have been pretty much camera dormant for the past 6 years. Good to be back in the game.

Wow. Exceptional image with great detail, nice composition and pleasing background color. Wish it was mine!
