Great-Horned Owl

Shot last weekend. I tracked down this mommy in the woods.
Fledglings were not too far off. I heard male hooting in the distance.
I was shooting directly into the sunlight, very tricky. Mommy later on took of and when she came back, one of the fledglings came to her and they were nibbling each other.
1D4m EF300mm f/2.8L USM NON-IS + 2.0X TC II (600mm f/5.6)
1/160, ISO-1000, f/10 tripod used.

I want to see the frame where they are nibbling each other. I would consider brightening this image a bit if it were mine.

No problem Bob, I am posting the frame in a few minutes. I have pic  with a beak open also :D .
Far as brightening the image, I didn't want to do it for several reasons, it would brings more noise and also  I wanted to show the owl as I saw it. It was sitting in a dark shadow.

Like how the eye pops. yeah lighting was tough but you squeezed out a good shot.
