Further to my last post, I now introduce the baby of the Northern Potoo. Easier to see on this photo than in nature, his ability to hide is perhaps even greater than that of the adult.
Hope you enjoyed this two-tiers post.

They are of course related to the nightjars and nighthawks... I also love the fact that the latin family name means "goat-sucklers".God knows what the early ornithologists thought they were feeding on....
