Here's a Western Tanager from SE Arizona last year.  The lighting was challenging as it was mid day and sunny so I used more fill flash than usual.
Canon 5D3 500F4 1.4x 1/500 F8, iso 800, fill flash at -1.0, Gitzo tripod, Wimberley head, hide
