Injured Heron & Egret

This poor thing must have been attacked possibly by a coyote. I have seen many coyote walk the shoreline. Lake Pleasant, AZ ( much detail is lost with compressed photos)

The first time I viewed this image I missed the damaged wing of the heron, but now it is clear. I like the diagonal flight path of the heron and the background habitat. The egret also looks very natural in the frame.
