Just back from an awesome family adventure through the Red Centre of Australia. I was really lucky to find a small flock of this beautiful and uncommon cockatoo drinking from a roadside tank.
Thanks for looking, Greg.

The crest and head details are good but the lack of detail in the body of the bird lets it down a tad plus the cut off feet gives an awkward feel to the image. I did enjoy the lovely warm light of the red centre though.

magnificent bird! Fine image with nice pose, complimentary NG, and great detail. A little tight on the bottom, but maybe that is all the room he gave you.

Major Mitchell obviously knew a good thing when he saw one Greg! What a beauty and such wonderful marshmallow colours.

Just lovely, especially with the crest opened up like that.

Wow! What a doo on this cockatoo. Love the ground level eye to eye perspective and the lighting is just stunning. Great work as usual.
