Here's one from yesterday afternoon. These guys are leaving SoCal right now to head back north for the summer. I hope to grab a few more frames before they clear out completely!

Great image especially with the fancy splash round the bird.

Great splashes- very exciting to see- I like the green seaweed (I assume) to offset the other colors. The bubbles look icy. Really enjoyable scene.

Dorian, how appropriate for this bird to be getting splashed by the 'surf,' cool perch, pose and roiling ocean BG.  Love the way the feet got covered by the layer of water and crazy how the water drops are so giant, they look like hailstones.

Well it looks like you had a pretty darn good day of shooting yesterday!! Peregrines in good light in the morning and beautiful shorebirds in the evening light!!.
What a deal!! Got to love Cali for that. Nice pose, details and colors in this one but those suspended crystal spheres are awesome.
It was fun shooting with you Dorian.

Good shot to get the bird and water splash so clearly. Nicely done Dorian!

Looks like they are on their way into breeding plumage too. A nice unique take Dorian.
Thanks for looking,
