Green Tailed Sunbird (male) -
Singalila National Park, March ‘17.

Its a riot of colors at SNP now. Birds are getting there breeding plumage, flowers everywhere.

(Nikon D500, 500 f4 VR2 & 1.4TCIII, handheld) Shutter - 1/200 seconds, F - 7.1, ISO – 1000;

I APPRECIATE CRITICISMS.

Great natural settings,nice feeding action and exposure on lovely colourful plumage,gorgeous image indeed!! Very well done.

Somdeb, what a beautiful image, love the pose, perch and lovely BG - even got some pollen, (I assume), on the beak.  Wonderful dynamics with the diagonal orientation & comp - very well done.

Wonderful colors, composition, lovely perch and BG. Only thing is, I see a bit of a blur, maybe a slight motion blur. But either way this is a great image.

Thanks a ton for your input. I agree with you that the flowers are a little oof. The subject got too close and my TC was attached. I didn't get the time to mount the tripod. I opted for ISO1000 and f7.1 - f9 and ISO1250 would have been better in my opinion.

Thanks a lot to the Moderators for the EP. It is a great motivation for me to learn more and more.

Thanks to Debapratim Saha for continuously teaching me from the scratch. Also thanks to Arabinda Debnath for giving me newer insights about the world of photography.
Its really fun learning so many things.

NSN is really great providing such a wonderful platform to a newcomer like me.
