Getting back to editing after a busy week at work. One of my favourites from the trip - from Tijuana Estuary NWR - curious to know what others think about it. 

1Dx, 600mm F4 handheld
1/2500, F5.0, ISO 1250
~80% of frame

This works for me Brandon, although I think I'd rather the bird be running into the sunset vs out of it. Not that you likely had a choice.

Looks like I can see a sharpening halo around the bird?

Love it - orange and purple tones are great! Agree with the crop comment as well.

Colors are magical-yes , would be better running from the left if there is a possibility of a different crop.But the mood and light are really beautiful.
