Sweet photo! We did not get any this year in Vermont. :(. I love the bright colors of the male.

Hi John. This is a beauty, I like the perch and the background that work very well with this colourful Redpoll. We haven't had any of these birds here in NW Alberta this winter, so pretty bummed about that! I guess you have been keeping them all up there with you. Take care.

Very nice image, but it seems a bit dark to me. You might be able to add a bit of light to it to make it jump a bit more.

John, I've always found these birds to be so delicately beautiful, and you have captured that endearing essence.  Love the blush of red on bird, sweet perch and lovely BG - really enjoying the cooler color tones here - gorgeous image.

Very nice, John, and definitely worth clicking on to see the wonderful detail and color in the bird. The background sky could not be better.  Super image!

John, this is so beautiful and I love the soft light and colour tones in this wonderful wintery capture.

This would make superb prints, cards etc. it just has that 'extra quality' that is so appealing. 8)

A great bird to have at the feeder John. I lived in Alberta for many years and loved when i'd look out in the trees next to the feeders and see 50 plus waiting their turn. Nice one.
Thanks for looking,
