Green-crowned Brilliant - Ecuador
D500, 150-600mm @ 400mm, ISO 1000, f/8, 1/100s

I also enjoyed photographing perched birds away from the multi-flash set-ups in Ecuador :)

A lovely image of this little jewel! Its good to see them perched as a nice change from the flash/flower set ups.

Wonderful composition. One of the better perched hummer images I've seen.

E.J., a 'brilliant' little gem, love the iridescence, pose, and complementary BG.  Cool perch with the lichen and the little fern-like growths, beautiful image.

Very nice. Greenery on the perch is an appreciated touch as well.

Great shot. I really like the details when viewed large.
