This is another image of the Great Horned Owl my wife and I were photographing last Sunday. I really like the open mouth in this pose. It is nesting in a tree about 100 feet away across a stream. The terrain allowed our spot to be about eye level with the owl. The weather was broken clouds so the lighting varied. Image made with 5D4 with 500 f/4 and 1.4 TC. Image is about 70% of original. Thanks for looking.
