This handsome guy spent some time at the Marina in the last few years.
He seems to like to hang out with Mallards. Last afternoon he was out on the trail, close to the beach.

Karl, very nice variation from the usual in-water shot and judging by your description, he must be marching to the beat of his own drum :).  Lovely colors captured on this handsome male.
