Captured early this morning at Mai Po Nature Reserve, Hong Kong.

KK, not a species we see posted very often, and you've even captured him in his glorious breeding plumage.  Great bouncy action profile pose, he has that 'just came in and landed' look, judging by the roiling water and the alert eye contact :).

You're so right. Only an experienced bird photog like yourself would know what's the story behind by just looking at the photo captured. I'm impressed.
