I missed the snowy environment as I did not find the Duck on that day. By the time someone helped me to find it two days later,
most of the snow was gone.
It is an extreme rarity around here.

Karl, wonderful job on the exposure with lovely details and a nice stepping pose.  Sorry about the missed snow you wanted, but better late than never for this rarity for you - very well done.

I was lucky to have met you and Mike in the parking lot by chance and it was very nice of Mike to show us the celebrity bird.
I rushed home to pick up my wife so she would have had a chance as well but the bird was gone and we did not find him Yesterday either.
Birding is like that.

That,s the way it goes sometimes.
It showed up at the marina for awhile after the park!
