I miss living in a house that had a feeder set-up in the backyard. Makes for nice 'easy' shooting on days you don't feel like hiking miles for a target. This image is from a few years back when i had a place in Qualicum beach on Vancouver Island. Although the yard was small i was able to improvise. I would actually remove the screen from my office window and replace it with camo mesh when shooting. The platform feeder was very close to the house and at eye-level, i would use a 200-400 mm lens and this way i could keep the cedar shrub background as distant as possible. Lots of cool birds visited my yard and in spring these birds were abundant. Cheers

A real beauty,Michael!
I bet it was nice to have a set-up like that! Don't think I would get any work done!

Beautiful shot of this handsome bird, Mike.
Great to have a backyard when you can do setups.
Mine unfortunately is South orientation from the house and tiny.
