Short-eared owl perched

Shot last weekend. I like this shot. Little different then other perched I posted. Here , this guy was not happy about Northern Harrier buzzing around. Each time Harrier flew by it screech at it. You can see that in the picture. Sometime feathers got fluffed up and ear tufts raised, which are not a true ear tufts just a feathers when raised looks like it.
It was fun to watch how this owl didn't like the Harrier be around. I can see why, because Harriers steal a lot of food from them.

Ludo, can even see its tongue with that screech, interesting behavior shot.  I'm enjoying all the feather layers and textures here.
