Shot from this morning. Light was terrible...dark overcast. This might be one of the last shots of these birds for this season.
I am surprised they are some owls still here.
1D4, EF300mm f/2.8L USM NON-IS
1/640, ISO-1600, f/2.8 handheld.

Nice eye contact and details. This Owl species has become a rarity in our area unfortunately.

What a wonderful habitat image of this owl. You did well given the shooting circumstances. I love the eyes.......looks like he's sleepy from a long night of hunting. Well done.
