I certainly love the colorful woodpeckers from there. Love the raised feathers on the head and slightly open beak. Beautiful setting as well.

Really like thees guys. We saw several on our recent trip to Costa Rica. I like the perch and background along with the sharp detail.

Dark BG sets off this wonderful bird very nicely. Perch adds a lot too!
