I miss doing my winter trip down to California now that i am living abroad. I loved escaping B.C. for a couple weeks during our winter months and going shooting in southern California. This was shot in Moss landing just south of San Fransisco. There is some excellent winter shore birding down there.

Mike, beautifully done, great pose with head turn and nice eye-level POV.  Love the way the fore and BG melt away, and with the slice of focal plane on your lovely subject.
