Painted bunting

Here is another one of the 5 males that were at this location. He posed briefly at the only sunny part of the bush and allowed me to fire off several images. Notice the huge difference in shutter speed from my previous image and how dark it was in the depths of the bush.

E.J., Did the posting guidelines change?  Previously, it was one post into each category for each calendar day.  You noted that only one photo could be posted into the bird gallery every other day.  Bob posted two Painted Bunting photos, one on the 27th and the next on the 28th.

Oh wow, it looks like the birds forum changed while I wasn't paying attention.  The guidelines do now say one per day :)  Must have been changed while I was out of the country and not monitoring things :)   Looks like that was a year and a half ago.  Crawling back into my hole now!!!  Sorry for the confusion.
