Photo taken at Laguna Seca Ranch in South Texas two days ago.

Nikon D810, 300mm lens, 1.4 TC, 1/2000 sec at f/7.1, ISO 640.

A little better detail if you click on the image.

Gene, really nice with the perch on the diagonal and the sporty pose.  The salmon color of buds goes great with the olive greens.

I like the perch and pose here Gene. It almost looks like the camera picked up focus on the tail leaving the head a little soft. My eye is drawn to the sharpest area of the photo and in this case it is the tail. Still a pleasing image.
