Photo taken at Laguna Seca Ranch two days ago.

Nikon D810, 300mm lens, 1.4 TC, 1/1250 sec at f/6.3.

I like this photo because it depicts the relationship between the Harris's and Caracaras.  At one time, there were 10 or more Caracaras surrounding the Harris's and the Harris's Hawk stood its ground.

Gene, with a confident walk, he's not flinching nor giving an inch - very interesting behavior shot and explanation.

Nice pose in this frame. To bad I didn't see the Harris's Hawk when I was at the ranch. Next time, I hope.
