I've been photographing these beautiful owls for about six years now, and this is the first one that gave me a decent head turn. Very happy to get that shot out of the way.
Nikon D7200; Nikkor 300mmm f4 PF VR, ISO 400; f7.1; 1/3200

Wow killer shot, Mike. We used to have them not too far from here but they were not around last year I heard.

Deluxe!! Great look at the near wing and a cool head angle. Nice exposure and details too. The camera really locked on well in the blue sky. Well done
