One of the most beautiful of the smaller duck species in my opinion, Debapratim. This superb image captures the sweetest detail of the subtle plumage colour palette and markings, and illustrates just how they can hold their own against their more colourful cousins. Wonderful shot!

Flight pose, bg and water droplets are all pluses.
Head appears soft though. How big was the crop, if any?
