living in here and having the right connections really helps to get the best out of the over 900 bird species that we have in Costa Rica.

I am really impressed by the smothness of the BG at 2500 ISO.  the 5DIV is really doing a good job here.  Well done!

This is such a seldom-photographed species, least of all this well, that some description of the circumstances (and location if available) would be welcomed, at least by me.

I am really impressed too Yves, previously I got the 5d Mark III and there is no point of comparison, this camera is outstanding!!!

Hi Mike, the location is Braulio Carrillo National Park Area, I don't know how familiarized are you with Costa Rica. We locate this specie by their call, being a bit territorial we came back to the same spot and playback their call, the perch and the area were previously selected in order to get better light and photographic conditions. Anytime coming to Costa Rica let me know please, I have many of this kind of locations with no feeders set up birds and amazing species!!!
