Shot from October-24-16. Here I had limited time to take this shot, because Pheasant hunters were in the distance behind me sweeping the grass fields, firingĀ  and I needed to get out of there before they get too close.
Luckily this female Northern Harrier didn't mind to do a little posing for me stretching her wings.

Lovely image Mako....................this is actually an immature bird. Females have streaky breasts while immature birds have the chestnut coloration you see here.
